The Slow Return....

Ahhhh.....another post.....
Slowly, slowly...I return.

A Cole's Notes update:

My blog is PUBLIC again.
Why? Well....I went private because I thought that I was merely blogging for my family and close pals....and thought, "private's not such a bad thing" (even though there's really nothing here that I'd be embarrassed to talk about in an interview!)...But in choosing a username and password, that I thought surely those closest to me would know - I confused EVERYONE, most notably my family (who know damn well what street I grew up on, and what my Mother's name is!)

So - public it is. It save much emabarrassment for everyone.

Bruce and I are coming up on our one year ANNIVERSARY as a married couple....And marriage is both great, and a challenge all rolled into one. We laugh a lot, and sometimes pool noodles are involved!

We wrote a show together that we recently took to the playRites Festival in Calgary. It was Bruce's one-man show, called, "This Is Cancer"...though, to be fair, it's not really a one man affair. It also features a fabulously talented pianist, Waylen Miki....And I had a non-speaking role as "Cancer's personal assistant, Lucinda". The experience was GREAT! Beautiful, scary, heartwarming....And a real challenge to both Bruce and the audience. We hope it has a long life (the show, not the disease!)

Professionaly I had the good fortune of guesting on This Hour Has 22 Minutes this season. A blast!

And....we will soon be at work on various Fringe projects....

For now, I, like so many actors, find this a difficult time of year while we wait to see if we book any work for the summer....It's tough not to judge your own self-worth by your lack of employment....Hie diddly dee, an actor's life for me!

Christy and I recently returned from a trip to Bermuda! Lovely, and much more cold then I would have thought. A nice break though...

Ummmmm.....I guess that's it for now.
